Dubai has launched a long-term residency program which grants eligible yacht owners the opportunity to secure a 10-years UAE Golden Visa. This initiative is designed to attract high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and supports Dubai’s ambition to strengthen its position as a global maritime hub. In this spirit, it has been introduced a 6-months multiple-entry visa for yacht crew members, providing enhanced flexibility for yacht staff.
Additional details regarding this residency program are yet to be disclosed at the prestigious Dubai International Boat Show 2025 scheduled from 19 to 23 February.
A similar long-term residency program granting Golden Visas to superyacht owners was introduced in Abu Dhabi in December 2024. Both initiatives offer a range of exclusive benefits and the UAE Golden Visa is distinguished by its extended benefits such as the ability to remain outside the country for over six months and a ten-year renewal period.
